Delivery Conditions
Our bars and wires can be delivered packaged and marked in accordance with the customer’s instructions and requirements. Our standards for marking and packaging are outlined below:
- All packaging is matched to transport conditions
- Hot rolled bars are normally delivered in bundles of up to 5 tonnes
- Drawn bars are oiled and supplied in bundles of upto 2 tonnes
- Wires are supplied in coils of approximately 300 to 500 Kgs, depending on the size
- Peeled bars are delivered in oiled condition, in bundles of upto 2 tonne
- Rough ground bars are delivered in oiled condition, in bundles of upto 2 tonnes
- Precision ground bars are delivered in oiled condition and in wooden crates. If necessary, the bars can be protected using water-proof resin cloth around every bundle
